The Aaron Rodgers-led 20-point comeback effort over the Chicago Bears has pushed the Packers to No. 4 in SB Nation’s weekly NFL power index.An all-time great comeback like the one Green Bay pulled off in prime time will always garner positive attention, but the team began the season ranked fairly high. SB Nation started the Packers at No. 7, falling behind just a few fellow NFC contenders. Even at the Packers’ current position, they fall behind the division-rival Minnesota Vikings (No. 1 entering Week 2) and defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (No. 3).The Packers have also risen in esteem elsewhere on the internet. ESPN moved them up one spot from a No. 8 starting position while Sporting News bumped them up to No. 6. In terms of the major outlets, only USA Today dropped Green Bay after the Week 1 action, moving them down a spot to No. 7.Look for the Packers to make a significant jump or fall in next week’s rankings. I wasn’t.“He’s going to be overdone”, I said.“He’ll have plenty of other opportunities this season, don’t go back to back with highlights of him”.Well here we are, yet again spotlighting Adams for his magnificent play in week 2 of the 2018 preseason.Adams has gotten off to even faster starts than Justify coming out of the gates, or me when I hear “burgers are done”. Adams played only 7 snaps in the second preseason game but he left his mark in a hurry:Ahh, so good.Can’t wait until these games actually start to matter. But then again, does anything really matter?
