So you have pushed through every step of the Astra Malorum Easter egg, picked up the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon, and now you are standing in that last arena thinking this is it, this is the run that finally counts, a bit like queuing into a sweaty CoD BO7 Bot Lobby where nobody is messing about. The fight with Caltheris is long, it is messy, and it can feel unfair at first, but once you know what is coming in each phase it starts to feel less like chaos and more like a long checklist you work through with your squad.

Phase 1 – Filling The Soul Box
During the first phase you cannot actually damage Caltheris at all. He is floating above the map, firing lasers down like a grumpy space god, and if you stare at him too long you will just get melted. Your real job is on the ground. You need to kite zombies over to the soul box on the edge of the arena and kill them close enough so the souls count. It sounds simple but it is easy to panic when the sky lights up. Try not to camp in one corner; keep rotating round the arena, clear a small pack, then move before the lasers lock you in. When the screen flashes blue you know you have done enough. Hit the soul box, watch the blast rip a chunk off his health, and then do it again. You will need to repeat this three times, so do not waste your strongest ammo here, just rely on basic crowd control and smart movement.

Phase 2 – Grounded Caltheris
Once the third soul blast hits, Caltheris slams down into the arena and the fight changes pace straight away. He turns into a massive hulking boss with glowing weak spots all over his body. Aim for those first, do not spread damage everywhere. As you break each weak spot, a bigger glowing area appears and that is when you want to dump your LGM-1 shots or any high-damage weapon you have left. The main move that ruins runs here is the boulder throw. When he locks onto a player you can usually see him wind up and track that one person. If it is you, just run, do not try to squeeze in one more burst of damage. Most teams wipe because someone gets greedy and eats a rock to the face. Keep some distance, keep rotating, and let one player bait the boulders while the others keep firing at the glowing spots.

Phase 3 – Caltheris Ascendant
After you chip down his health again he shifts into the Ascendant form, even bigger and somehow even more annoyed. The good news is the basic plan does not really change. You are still going for weak points, still watching for projectiles, still managing the adds. The bad news is his new ground slam. That move hits like a truck and can down you outright if you are too close, even with solid perks. You will notice the animation pretty quickly, so start calling it out on voice chat. Something simple works best, just shout “slam” or “back off” so everyone hears it. Try not to stack up in one tight group; spread a bit so one bad slam or stray laser does not take the whole squad down. You will probably feel the pressure here, but if everyone knows when to back off and when to push damage, the phase goes down faster than it looks at first.

Phase 4 – Caltheris The Needle
The last form, Caltheris the Needle, looks dramatic but is more about keeping your head than pulling off perfect damage rotations. The boulders are still coming, but now they leave those purple pools on the floor that cut off parts of the arena and punish anyone who tunnels on the boss bar. Try to keep your escape routes clear, do not fill the middle with poison if you can help it. At some point a brain jar drops a mega power up with Insta-Kill, Max Ammo, and a full Field Upgrade charge all bundled together, and this is where a lot of players mess up. Grabbing it straight away feels tempting, especially if the wave is getting noisy, but you are better off waiting until ammo is low or the arena is almost unplayable. Call out when your team is running dry, then grab it, pop your Field Upgrades, and burn through his last chunk of health while you still have space to move, finishing the run in a way that feels earned rather than lucky, almost like you finally learned when to buy u4gm CoD BO7 Bot Lobby and when to trust your own grind.
