We are so excited wedding-veils to share this stunning Brookside Gardens wedding with everyone today! Two Brides from two diverse backgrounds, very different personal styles equals one detail filled day. Eliot and Natalie love fandom and comics, so Eliot actually carved all of the wood centerpieces, seating chart, cheese board favors herself. She is literally the DIY bride of the Year! We love the epic wedding party fashion, with the bridesmaids and men all wearing white and Brackish bow ties. Natalie wore the traditional color of good luck, a Red gown and changed into a Red jumpsuit for the reception.
Our favorite fashion detail would be the custom ivory pant suit that Eliot designed! The pair are both huge travelers and foodies so the menu consisted of food from all around the world. Working with 6 different local restaurants that they love and Spilled Milk cocktail dresses Caterers, the menu was an authentic and delicious culinary experience for their guests. We love everything about this multicultural wedding experience, and thank you Favored by Yodit for sharing it with us!
But you did it one more time, didn’t you? You gave me another sign. I wasn’t looking for one. I was flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch. On the History show there was a documentary, really a bunch of video clips with no narration, of 9|11. I wasn’t sure I should watch it. I was already so depressed.
I watched for a few minutes. There was a footage of a little girl with her even younger brother by her side. They were standing by a window in their apartment. You could see smoke from the collapsed World Trade Towers rising in the distance. The little girl explained what was going on…saying the building vintage wedding dresses was just gone, gone forever…then she turned to her brother and said: “right, Spencer?”
WHAT? I got chills! Maybe wedding dresses I’m going insane from grief, but maybe this is legit. Maybe you're really out there. Maybe you'll write me again? Is that asking too much? I miss you so badly.
Excited to end the week with Bindhu and Chris’ sunset DC Engagement Photos by Gonzalez J Photography. In a tail of true modern romance, Bindhu and Chris met online! Their first date was filled with hours of conversation, much to their server’s dismay. Once they left, they were both filled with so much excitement. So much so that she thought Chris might be running off but he was just so thrilled that he couldn’t stop moving! Now, they spend their days together reading books, watching movies they love, and getting to explore new restaurants with friends. We love their DC Engagement session filled with iconic Washington Monument photos and a colorful sunset.
