season has not gone the way we had hoped. We lost the running back we were counting on before the season even began and then we lost our franchise quarterback before he could fully grasp Shanahan’s offensive system. The receiver we were counting on to stretch the field has been banged up most of the time and our number two running back is too banged up to be at full strength even if he does play this week. Injuries have been a major excuse for the last four years and they are a legitimate excuse again this season. Life goes on and all we can do is try to make the best of it.
