The San Francisco 49ers play in the NFC West

So that Jalen Ramsey trade went down this week for the Los Angeles Rams and everyone has an opinion on it. Two first round picks and no contract left a lot of questions to be asked and San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman spoke the truth of the matter. In his Thursday press conference Robbie Gould Jersey White , Sherman spoke what many of us were thinking on the deal overall: The fact Ramsey hadn’t signed a contract was the one thing even more riskier than the two first round picks the Rams gave up to get him. His deal runs through 2020 and after that he’s a free agent. Not only have the Rams given up two first round picks, but they also will need to structure some space in their salary cap to pay Ramsey who will be looking to be the highest paid cornerback in the league. As Sherman said, Ramsey has all the leverage in this. He can walk after a year and leave the Rams hanging and they gave up two first round picks for a 1.5 year rental. He’s going to get paid. In 2020, the Rams have $17,197 Weston Richburg Jersey White ,181 in effective cap space. We won’t know 2021 for long while, but when that time arrives, some decisions will have to be made. An interesting ranking came from the NFL.com’s Adam Schein where they ranked the divisions of the league by QB. The San Francisco 49ers play in the NFC West and with their quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, are joined with Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals) Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks) and Jared Goff (Los Angeles Rams). This group of signal callers was enough to set the West up as second if based by QB, right behind the AFC West.
