HONOLULU -- Kansas City and San Francisco will have plenty of clout in Honolulu if they dont make it to New Jersey for the Super Bowl. The NFL revealed Friday that the Chiefs and 49ers each had eight players voted into the Pro Bowl, including running backs Jamaal Charles of Kansas City and Frank Gore of San Francisco. Denver quarterback Peyton Manning was selected to his 13th Pro Bowl after receiving the most votes among fans, 1.43 million. New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees was second among fans with 1.2 million votes. The NFL combines votes from fans, players and coaches to determine 86 of 88 Pro Bowl players; the other two players are long-snappers selected by Pro Bowl coaches. Voting ended Thursday. Under a new format this year, NFL greats Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will divvy up the players in a two-day draft before the Jan. 26 game. Offensive and defensive players with the most votes who dont make it past the divisional playoff round will serve as active player captains. Charles said Friday night on a reveal show on the NFL Network that he should be picked first. "I think I got the best skillset of anybody on the roster," Charles said. "I think I can play wide receiver and then put the ball in my hand, also. The only thing I cant do is throw the ball." Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly said hell be fine wherever hes picked. "I dont know, you got to get the guy who scores points," he said. The schoolyard-style selections mean its likely teammates will be forced to play on opposite sides. Players on the winning team will earn $53,000 while the losers will get $26,000 under the collective bargaining agreement. San Francisco linebacker NaVorro Bowman said he thinks it would be weird to have to tackle Gore or Pro Bowl tight end Vernon Davis. "I might not tackle him," Bowman said. "Just let him score and get his yards or whatever. Yeah, thatd be weird because that hasnt happened since training camp." Rice and Sanders playfully bantered about possible selections, with Sanders saying he wanted players on his roster who havent been to many Pro Bowls. "If you have five years or more, dont even worry about it Im not going to pick you," Sanders said. "Go play for Jerry." Rice said later: "Youre trying to bait me -- thats not going to happen." Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman received 552,600 votes by fans, the most for any defensive player. Houston defensive end J.J. Watt had just under 410,000 fan votes. San Francisco is set to send eight players to the game for the second year in a row, though its players missed the game earlier this year because they made the Super Bowl, losing to Baltimore. Kansas Citys eight selections are up from six last year. The Chiefs are 11-4 this year -- up from 2-14 last year -- and the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs heading into a largely meaningless game for them against San Diego on Sunday. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Friday he has never been big on Pro Bowl selections. "Im happy for the guys when and if they make it. Im proud of them for it," Reid said. "But we dont get caught up in all of the individual accolades. (Were) just getting ourselves ready to play." Manning was one of five players selected from Denver, which has a shot at putting up the most points of any team in NFL history. All but five teams had at least one player selected. Atlanta, Green Bay, Jacksonville and both New York teams had zero players selected.

"The important thing is to help the team win, not the goals," Diego Costa said. After a first half dominated by defence, Atletico pressed Valencia into its area and Diego Costa did the rest.
Gemel Smith Jersey . -- Arizona coach Sean Miller rose from his seat every time Roberto Nelson touched the ball and yelled "Shooter!" He could have been talking about his own team, too.WINNIPEG -- Youre in the pool, start swimming -- thats pretty much how receiver Aaron Kelly describes his introduction last season to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. At the time, the team itself wasnt treading water too well. After Kelly was signed near the end of August he managed to finish 2013 with 22 catches and a respectable 321 yards by the end of the season, while the Bombers finished in the league cellar at 3-15. He finished fifth on the team receiving list. The lean six-foot-five import is now entering his fourth season in the CFL and has a combined 20 starts with the Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he spent his first two seasons. Kelly joined a team last year that had just sacked its president, general manager and offensive co-ordinator. They also were still in the process of burning through four quarterbacks, hoping to find one who could find a way out of their slump. "When you need timing and stuff like that you want to get familiar with a quarterback and when it changes up it makes it difficult," says the soft-spoken Georgia native. This year, Kelly says hes benefiting from a chance to attend training camp, learn the offence from the ground up and become familiar with the teams quarterbacks, before he has to play a regular-season game. "I think it will give me the ability to be a little more comfortable," he said. "You come in the middle of the season and youre just kind of thrown in there, and you know just like thrown in a pool and just trying to survive . . . "Getting in from the start you get all the details and all the coaching." Kelly has had a goood camp so far as the first pre-season game approaches Monday, when the Toronto Argonauts visit.dddddddddddd Its about the only game confirmed this year as the league and players association remain embroiled in a contract dispute. Starting quarterback Drew Willy and Max Hall, who was the most consistent quarterback at the end of last season for the Bombers, both like the way Kelly has been hauling in passes at camp "Weve had some good connections already in the past few days. Hes done a good job on the seam routes and corners," said Willy, who likes Kellys size. "His catch radius is very big and hes done a great job for us and were looking forward to him helping us." Hall has also had a pretty good camp himself and likes what Kelly delivers. "Aaron Kelly is a good football player," says Hall, the only quarterback the Bombers decided to keep from 2013. "Hes just easy to throw the ball to. But, for being such a big guy, hes got a nice stride, hes quick on his feet. And what I really like about him, he knows how to separate man coverage. And so, as a quarterback, hes a guy you can go to, a guy you can trust." There are four quarterbacks in camp right now for the Bombers, five if you count a guest slot for the University of Manitoba Bisons. Getting to work with that many is another bonus to attending camp, says Kelly, should something happen during the season that would force a change. "In camp you get a chance to work with everyone and get your timing down with everyone, so when you get into the game, youll be ready to work with whoever."
