The plot remains the same as it was, but with cutscenes shot-for-shot presented through stunning, up-to-date cinematics. In a way, well written, performed and directed D2R Ladder Items, they are campy scenes we can all admire as well as treasure.Since this is an early 2000s gamewith NPCs, they take me for a ride with their words rather than engaging in interesting or animated debates. They're extremely well-acted, but they're not as engaging. I rarely skip dialogue in games, but in Resurrected I frequently did due to subtitles that served the same purpose.
In fact, the first two Diablo games have no characters so much as glorified audio logs on two legs. (It is only in the third game that we find real NPCs who develop as they learn, are involved in conflict, and have their own goals. )But perhaps Diablo 2: Resurrected's worst issue concerns its inventory "management," another hangover from the original's old-fashioned design. If you are a fan of nitpicky management along with Excel balances, then you'll enjoy this.
Otherwise, expect hellish clerk work. In the inventory, it is excessively and unnecessary constricting. It is possible to have a big storage area to store items, but there's not a way to direct any item into the storage area, as games like Demon Souls' remake allow. You must play the pack mules. In the course of killing countless enemies I had to take a break, return to camp, and then sell or dump items to create space for additional loot to sell or dump. This process is tiring and frustrating. It breaks the flow of combat and exploration. I just hope that a solution can be found.
It's difficult to talk about Diablo 2: Resurrected without getting too focused on the things that it was that made Diablo 2 great to begin with. It's also difficult to reflect on what makes Diablo 2's predecessor a mess by today's standards. The updates are a joy to see: loading times can be instantaneous D2R Items for sale, controls are designed with precision and the game remains a very easy game to download and play. The graphics, animations along with the option of a higher framerate and the sound design are a feast for the senses.
