ATZENBRUGG, Austria -- Mikael Lundberg exploited perfect playing conditions for early starters in the second round of the Lyoness Open on Friday in a bid for his first European Tour title in six years. In sunny and almost windless conditions, the Swede shot four consecutive birdies on the front nine on his way to a 68 and went 9 under for a one-shot lead over Englands Lee Slattery and two over Paraguays Farbrizio Zanotti (68). Slattery carded a 6-under 66, which started with three birdies on the first four holes and was rounded off by an eagle on the par-5 16th. "I hit some really, really good shots today," said Lundberg, who won the Russian Open in 2008. "Starting early means the course was slightly softer. On the back nine it started to dry out and that it made it harder." Lundberg said he had been "working really hard the last couple of months so I am glad it pays off." Englands Adam Gee, who shared the overnight lead with Lundberg, hit a 73 and dropped to 4 under for the tournament, while Sihwan Kim of South Korea improved to 6 under with a 68. Defending champion Joost Luiten and Rhys Davies of Wales followed at 5 under. Slattery missed the cut in his last four events but has regained his confidence at the event where he finished ninth last year. "We moved house, got married and had a baby so its been a really hectic six to nine months," Slattery said. "Its nice to find a little bit of form." Luiten, who finished the opening day on level par, put himself back in contention with a 5-under 67. Starting on the back nine where he dropped three strokes on Thursday, the Dutchman avoided bogeys this time and hit five birdies in total. "It was a bit easier as there was no wind today. My swing felt a bit better," Luiten said. "You have to be on the fairway, otherwise youre in trouble. Five under is a good score, I am definitely back in there." Home favourite and 2012 champion Bernd Wiesberger improved to 3 under with a 70 but Miguel Angel Jimenez, a two-time winner this season, dropped to 1-over par. The Spaniard carded a disappointing 75 after suffering three double bogeys on Nos. 7, 10 and 11. David Harris Jersey . Napoli beat high-flying Hellas Verona 3-0 to keep up the pressure on the top two while AC Milan had another disappointing night as four goals from teenage forward Domenico Berardi saw relegation-threatened Sassuolo come back from two goals down to win 4-3. Stephon Gilmore Jersey .The other side of the Bruins special teams unit delivered in the end.Gregory Campbell netted the game-winner with less than 10 minutes remaining and the Bruins fended off a late four-minute San Jose power play to earn a wild 5-3 win over the Sharks. http://www.shoptheofficialpatriots.com/ ... ts-Jersey/. Bostons bats exploded in Mondays opener, as David Ortiz belted a pair of two-run homers, Stephen Drew homered and drove in four runs and the Red Sox pummeled the Blue Jays, 14-1. Malcolm Mitchell Jersey . The 29-year-old Mills started three games for Oakland this season, posting a 1-1 record with a 4.41 earned-run average. He opened the season appearing in 14 games and making 12 starts for the Milwaukee Brewers triple-A affiliate in Nashville, posting a 4-2 record with a 1. Chris Hogan Jersey . Gaborik was acquired in a trade with Columbus on Wednesday and skated on the top line with centre Anze Kopitar and right-winger Justin Williams. "We created some things," said Gaborik, who logged 16:38 of ice time.SAN FRANCISCO - Zack Greinke smiled wider each time he looked at the scoreboard at AT&T Park. Four runs of support in the first inning, four more in the second and another four-spot in the sixth — highlighted by Greinkes first home run of the season. Greinke (15-8) pitched six scoreless innings and hit his fourth career home run, and the Los Angeles Dodgers romped past the San Francisco Giants 17-0 on Saturday night to build on their lead in the NL West. "Their lineups been about as good as it gets in the past couple of months," Greinke said of the Giants. "Usually if I get four or five you get a little comfortable with it, but the way theyve been playing, each extra run was appreciated." One day after being held to three hits in a 9-0 loss, the Dodgers doubled that output in the first inning against Giants starter Tim Hudson then coasted behind Greinke. More important, the Dodgers extended their division lead to two games over the Giants and are guaranteed of leaving this series between the top two teams in the NL West in first place. "That was a little different game, huh?" Los Angeles manager Don Mattingly said. "It was good to get those runs early. Its one of those games where everything seemed to go our way and then Zack kind of slams the door." Greinke combined with three relievers on the shutout and improved to 4-0 in six career starts against the Giants. The right-hander gave up hits to two of the first three batters he faced then retired 16 of the next 18. He struck out five. Jose Uribe and Scott Van Slyke homered, Hanley Ramirez went 4 for 5 and Matt Kemp had three hits and three RBIs for the Dodgers. Every position player had at least one hit by the second inning, and the team set a major league high for hits (24) this season. Greinke doubled in the fourth then homered off reliever Mike Kickham in the sixth, a two-run drive that put Los Angeles upp 13-0.dddddddddddd The Dodgers scored in six of the first seven innings and knocked Hudson out of the game in the second. Hudson (9-11) allowed six runs and eight hits in the shortest outing of his 16-year career. It was almost a complete reversal from a night earlier when San Francisco jumped on Los Angeles left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu for four runs in the first inning. The loss ended the Giants 10-game winning streak at AT&T Park, their longest at home since 2003. "They punched back," San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said. "We got knocked out early. We couldnt get a ball hit at somebody in the first inning and I think that took something out of Huddy." LINCECUM NO-NO MEMORIALIZED The Giants celebrated pitcher Tim Lincecums no-hitter on June 25 in a pregame ceremony Saturday and unveiled a plaque along the teams history walk beyond the right field fence. The two-time Cy Young Award winner also has a plaque for his Game 1 win over Atlanta in the 2010 NLDS when he pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts. UMPIRE SHUFFLE Crew chief Jim Joyce will miss the remainder of the series because of an illness. D.J. Reyburn replaced Joyce and worked second base, while Doug Eddings assumed the crew chief duties. TRAINERS ROOM Dodgers: Ryu will leave the team and fly to Los Angeles on Monday to have an MRI on his left shoulder. The 14-game winner will likely skip his next scheduled start. ...
